Embrace your Imperfections  Written by: Arooj Shahbaz (Lahore, Pakistan) "Imperfection is a perfection to a beautiful perspective".         One day laying on my bed i started hating myself just because i'm not perfect, people doesn't like me they didn't stay in my life they just leave me.          Then after spending a lot of time with myself i just started laughing hardly and loudly and realized that am i stupid why i gave importance to those people who didn't even appreciates me and didn't even know about me so i just sat down with a spirit of acceptance that "Ich bin perfekt so wie ich bin" (I am perfect as i am).          I don't need people approval to be good or something else they like so i started embracing my imperfections.          Let's start what imperfections are actually or what people called imperfections. Imperfections: Small defect or flaws in your personality as perceived by people.           But according to me imperfect

Family is Everything

Importance of Family in a child's life  Written by: Arooj Shahbaz (Lahore,Pakistan) "Family is not an important thing it's everything"_Michael J. Fox      "Family"This term always makes us smile a little when we hear it. Whether an individual is an animal or a human, family is always of utmost importance.       One of the strongest forces in the world is probably family. And there are aspects of it that contribute to this. Even while family is different for everyone of us, it is still a place where we feel at home, a place where we belong, and a place where we truly belong.Knowing you have family means no one will ever be able to replace you. It's the place where you are really unique. It is that wonderful spot where you can be who you truly are every day, with all of your heart, personality, and sass.      You are known and loved there. You are recognised for who you truly are, including your greatness and your darkness. And no matter what, you're

Importance of Thoughts

How Thoughts Can Impact Our Life Written by: Arooj Shahbaz (Lahore, Pakistan) Sometimes, when relaxing on a couch, we become aware of our actions and begin to question why we made the choices we did. To understand this, we must first understand our thoughts and thought patterns.  Sometimes our decisions are fairly simple, like whether to have an omelet for breakfast, but other times they are very complicated and have significant effects on our lives.  There are always times in our lives when we take major decisions that we regret later because most of the time we didn't give ourselves much time to think on that. Yes, I agree that sometimes we should take decisions without giving them much thought, but in practical life, it's not worth it.  People who claim that they left their business and problems in front of Allah and Allah will see, surely he will see but we must put our efforts to everything, just not sitting in a corner waiting for a miracle to happen. We should realize that

Pathway toward Happiness

The Real Happiness  Written by: Arooj Shahbaz (Lahore, Pakistan) "Never look on others for happiness since doing so will make you feel lonely. Even if you are alone, finding contentment in yourself will make you happy". "I will be happy when I will get married" "I will be happy when I will get a job" I will be happy when … Have you previously used the same phrase? How long does happiness last when a wish is fulfilled? It is true that when we achieve our goals, we are happy. But frequently, it is short-lived. Long-lasting happiness cannot be attained solely via the satisfaction of needs or the collection of possessions, just as good health cannot be attained solely through proper nutrition but also requires other factors. Several other crucial actions to get there must be done. True happiness has different meanings for different people depending on their age as well. As we mature, it's possible that we find enjoyment in sources other than those that bro

Life is Harsh Sometimes

Constant Criticism a Secret Killer  Written by: Arooj Shahbaz (Lahore, Pakistan) Do people always picking you or they said that you are oversensitive? Sometimes you hear people saying that's not what I meant to say but yes you are wrong here or you should look at yourself etc. All these sentences are manipulative criticism.  There are many times in our lives when we feel as though something is upsetting us and we want to express it, but there is always an appropriate way to do so. Sometimes we express it directly, and other times we do so with sardonic remarks. Additionally, when someone criticizes us, we sometimes fail to listen and do not even let the other person finish their point of view. As a result, our various attempts at critical confrontation frequently escalate into heated arguments. On the other hand, criticism may be a very effective kind of assertive communication when it is delivered without devaluing the other person as a person, when it does not portray contempt or

Let's be Real

Find the Real You Written by: Arooj Shahbaz ( Lahore, Pakistan) Do you ever feel that you are acting differently at work and at home do you ever feel like you are faking? I'm not referring to acting and dressing professionally. However, when you feel like you're portraying someone else at work or continually editing your appearance to fit a certain image. I refer to this as your "fake you" Work is a place to be professional and attentive, but it's also a place where you should feel at ease. You won't feel at ease or be bringing your best self to work if you believe that you can't let your personality shine. It's true that occasionally you have to consider how well an organization's culture fits. It's possible that you need to choose a job that is more in line with your ideals if you want to be the "true you" at work. However, you can discover that even if you think your personality wouldn't suit well at work, that's actually

Be Yourself

Self Acceptance  Written by: Arooj Shahbaz (Lahore,Pakistan) Do you love yourself? Do you accept yourself as you are? These questions might seems weird but they have deep meanings inside them. It turns out that acceptance of oneself is not a natural or default state. Many of us struggle to accept who we are right now. Accepting the positive aspects of oneself is not difficult, but what about the negative aspects? We shouldn't accept our shortcomings and failures, right? Firstly I will start with the introduction of Self-acceptance as many of us don't even know about the concept.  Self-acceptance: The   state of being wholly satisfied with oneself. Accepting who you are without constraints, restrictions, or exceptions is what true self-acceptance entails. The definition tells us that we should not only accept the good part of us but also accept the flaws within us. If you are thinking that difficult to accept your negative aspects yes you are right but if you keep on accepting
